ITB Competence Assurance are currently recruiting for a Training Coordinator to join our friendly team.  Reporting to the Centre Manager, this key position will be responsible for the smooth and effective functioning of all training events delivered by ITB.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain course schedules using the ITB Training Management System
  • Coordinate the candidate registration and certification processes.
  • Track candidate portfolios that arrive at the ITB Offices either in hard copy or electronically
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems used by Trainers and Assessors
  • Manage the administrative requirements involved in the booking and delivery of all training courses to include; delegate course materials, preparation of training rooms and post course administration.
  • Liaise with remote training facilities to ensure they meet the required standard for delivery of our training courses
  • Comparing potential suppliers to establish the best prices
  • Answering phones and dealing with enquiries, transferring telephone calls to others as appropriate
  • Responsible for managing the document control & RFC process.  Document controlling new documents to ensure they are controlled in line with company procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that adequate levels of stock are maintained.
  • Responsible for collecting and preparing lunches as and when required.
  • Responsible for preparation of client quotes.
  • Responsible for the control of petty cash payments.
  • Responsible for ensuring reception in always prepared for visitors.
  • Review and update all documentation which you are the allocated document owner.



 Skills and Experience


  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent written, oral and visual communication skills
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team
  • Good time management skills
  • Experience in a client facing environment.


  • Knowledge of Competence Assessment and Competence Management Systems
  • SVQ in Business Administration and/or Customer Service
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Sage Accounting Packages
